Windows 11 isn't detecting the hard drive.
I've used this 1tb HDD before, but it no longer appears on the file explorer page. Steam games were downloaded to it, yet they don't show up anymore. It shows in the BIOS, but I've tried various fixes without success. Any ideas or solutions?

Any solutions?
Open up Disk Management and see if it requires you to initialize the drive. On a side note, how old is the HDD in question?
When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.
The HDD isn’t visible in disk management. Below are the parts I listed.
AMD ryzen 7 5700x
Thermalright peerless assassin 120
Asus prime b450m a-ii
16 gb ddr4 Corsair vengeance
I own a WD500 sata ssd and a 1tb Samsung 990 evo plus
Asrock Radeon 7600xt
Coolermaster 700w silent pro (about ten years old)
Zalman i3
Windows 11
Sceptre 240 hz 1080p 25”
The BIOS version on the motherboard is 4202
Is the device a SATA HDD? Which connections are being made to link the storage unit? You might try installing HDD Sentinel to check if the system recognizes the drive and assess its condition.
It's confirmed to be a SATA HDD, and the HDD sentinel has been successfully downloaded. It shows 100% health with no signs of overheating.
Are you connecting the HDD with SATA cables?
Items to verify:
Look for errors in the BIOS regarding Disk settings.
Inspect Device Manager to confirm the device is enabled.
Use diskpart in the command prompt to check its status.
Screenshots included: Disk Management, HDD sentinel, Device Manager - disk drives and storage controllers expanded, Windows Storage Spaces (Control Panel/Storage Spaces).
I completed the fix and am ready to share my solution in a post.
