I think it's accurate since my top friend just received a Windows 11 Beta upgrade through a Windows update using a Z270 MSI Gaming Pro and a 7700K. He joined the insider program and Beta channel, then changed BIOS settings—enabled Secure Boot and TPM 2.0—and now Windows 11 is being installed via Windows Update. I'm currently in the process and will let you know when it's finished successfully.

However, "beta" and final product differ significantly at the moment. The current MS position is on the 8th generation "hard" floor. I'm seeking a reliable source for this unusual assertion... It's clear I hope MS will gradually ease the floor, but only after a strong reaction from consumers—something like Stockholm syndrome overdose, which I’m not even certain will occur.

Yes - Windows 11 was set up smoothly using the official update method via Windows Update on my friend's PC (7700K). Just a quick note.

However, note that users have successfully added it to even more outdated systems. This doesn't imply the main version might not be compatible.
