Hi, I've just switched to Windows 11 and everything is running slow and choppy. My system has a Ryzen 5 7600, RTX 4070, and 32GB RAM. On Windows 10 it worked perfectly. I tried DDU, reinstalled games, updated everything else, but nothing helps. Any suggestions?

When a spare drive exists, it's wise to first check for software problems by installing a fresh 10 or 11 drive and testing it.

This appears to be a software problem, as it wasn't present on Windows 10. I'm trying the "Windows 11, version 25H2 (repair version)" approach to see if it resolves the issue. I've also noticed errors during update installations.

Consider fixing the installation, though it may not resolve the issue. If DDU was already applied and the fix doesn’t work, backing up your data and performing a clean install seems like the best option.

I just upgraded my rig from w10 to w11. I plan to play tf out of 3.27 in PoE during the new league after work. I’ll check back if anything odd happens with FPS. (Need more powerful charge boosts!) I’m using 5950x and 5080. Also, was that a screenshot of PoE1 or PoE2?

The situation is the same across all games. It’s not just about PoE—it affects everything. I’d have preferred staying on W10 even without support.

Disable VBS at Expected outcome should work.

Many people experienced issues after switching from Windows 10 to Windows 11. If disabling VBS doesn't resolve the problem, consider installing Windows 11 from the beginning. Remember, VBS is a security measure, so it's safer to reinstall immediately rather than risking further complications.

I completed a fresh setup using the official ISO file. Yet the issue persisted... I wasn't anticipating this. Windows 10 worked just as expected.

You faced a puzzling situation after spending the whole day trying fixes. Reinstalling W11 multiple times led you to a forum discussion about DX11 vs DX12 and Vulkan, where you learned that running the game on DX11 wouldn't necessarily be better than DX12. You decided to use GPU-Z to check your GPU's bus interface. After testing, you found it was x1 4.0, not x16. Then you quickly unplugged the PC, reset the CMOS, and reinserted the GPU—everything worked. You didn't understand how it happened.
