Hello everyone, in Windows 10's File Explorer, the thumbnail icons remain too small, and I'm checking if Windows 11 offers bigger thumbnails. This issue has persisted for years, affecting both personal use and my former workplace. It seems that in Windows 10, the "Extra large" thumbnail size is capped at 256x256 pixels. Many users have voiced concerns about this limitation, and I'm hoping someone here can confirm whether Windows 11 addresses this problem. I've spent a considerable time searching for a solution before posting, but no clear information was found. Thank you!

I understand your point of view. I was expecting Windows 11 to offer a substantial improvement over the current version. Your feedback is welcome.

Consider using CRTL combined with the scroll wheel on your mouse to adjust icon sizes. I’m not sure since I’m not close to a computer and it’s causing me stress. Also, I don’t use Windows 11 because it doesn’t meet my needs.

The icons won't exceed 256x256 pixels, though they might handle 512x512 technically. I remember hearing about a feature in Windows 7 or 8 that allowed larger sizes, but it wasn't available in File Explorer or on the desktop yet.
