Hello! It seems your new HDD isn't showing up in Windows. You have a power cable with two HDDs already, plus another with an SSD and extra slots. You tried disconnecting the SSD to test, but it still doesn’t appear. The issue might be related to insufficient power or incorrect connections. Have you checked the cable connections or the power supply? Also, ensure the SSD is properly seated in its slot. Let me know if you need further guidance!

It seems the device hasn't been around much yet—likely needs setup, partitioning, and formatting before it shows up with a drive letter. Is it visible in Disk Management? Which model is it? Does your motherboard share connections between SATA ports and an M.2 slot? Can another drive function correctly when connected to the same power cable, data cable, and SATA port as you're using with this new drive?

In Disk Management a message appeared stating "you have to initialize the disk before LDM can access it: Disk: 0". Choose either MBR or GPT.

Request a GPT setup. After creating a new partition on the empty drive, formatting will complete and the device will appear in My Computer.

It's unusual that after reconnecting the SSD it isn't recognized, while the HDD is working fine. The drive appears to be ready but not detected.
