I think the weak battery might be making the CPU slow down excessively, especially while handling decryption. Check Task Manager to see its current speed.

The CPU initially runs at full capacity, then drops significantly to just 3%, experiences a brief surge to 22-33%, and finally stabilizes at 3%. The system remains connected while the disk stays at full capacity, but the battery stops functioning.
