This drag-and-drop function for files in the taskbar has been removed from Windows 11. Many users are upset about it, and it's been nearly six months since the release. There hasn't been any update or announcement from Microsoft about bringing it back. LMG is the only platform I believe can bring this concern to attention with Microsoft. -A frustrated Windows 11 user who can't return to Windows 10 because they'd have to reconfigure their laptop again
Explore StartAllBack (paid) or ExplorerPatcher (free) and verify availability of the feature. It’s not ideal to rely on paid or third-party solutions, but they should provide the necessary functionality at the moment.
