For some reason in the last week, copying and pasting just stops working all of a sudden. If I restart my computer's file manager (Windows Explorer), things work again, but I don't know why. Aside from updating Windows and not installing anything new or making any changes myself...

It feels like the operating system could be broken if the problem disappears after restarting. You should check if your motherboard needs new BIOS upgrades and then look for any software updates on the OS too.

It does not disappear when I hit refresh, but it might still be broken. Restarting the "Windows Explorer" seems to help most of the time. I'll keep checking for new updates just in case.

Pasting things from one place to another using the copy paste trick means putting them in the clipboard first, then pasting them back out. Sometimes this can cause trouble with how your computer remembers where you put stuff or makes it messy inside its memory. You could try dragging and dropping instead to see if that works better for you.

That's strange because it's all up in the air. Occasionally it works for a week and then suddenly stops. It's nothing big, I just wonder what's going on!
