As the title suggests, my computer frequently loses its Ethernet link without any apparent cause. I use both the internal network card and an external USB port; switching cables quickly fixes the issue. I’m puzzled by the problem but it’s frustrating to hear others speculate. I’m ready to listen for any insights. My setup includes: TUF GAMING B650-PLUS Ryzen 7 7700x, RX 6950 XT, some Corsair DDR5 RAM Kingston SNV2S2000G M.2 SSD. What steps have you taken? I’ve switched cables, reset modem settings and restarted it, updated the router firmware, performed various software tweaks, upgraded network drivers (both Asus and Realtek RTL8125), reinstalled Windows 11 Update BIOS to the newest version, tried a different DNS, disabled IPv6, and applied the latest W11 updates.
