I'm experiencing frequent stuttering and lagging on my Soundblaster X4 when using direct mode drivers. After a fresh restart, the issue disappears temporarily, but it returns after about half an hour. The problem affects any video or game I'm playing. Creative support hasn't responded in the past week. Switching the output to my monitor resolves the issue, though occasional stuttering persists. I've disabled all sound enhancement, updated the BIOS, turned off unused devices, and reinstalled the drivers. I've observed the stuttering linked to spikes in CPU activity from "Audio Device Graph Isolation" (audiodg.exe). I've attached two examples of these occurrences.

I just made changes to my profile to include my setup details. I'm using a 3800XT with an X570, and I plan to download and update to check the results.

Bad signs are emerging again. The Windows Audio Device Graph Isolation is using about 25-30% of CPU and rising. I'm testing a YouTube video in Chrome, but it's less intense in Firefox and still occurs. Note: I removed my Soundblaster X4 and connected the 5.1 system via the motherboard using three 3.5mm jacks—no problems. I want to stay with the external sound card because it lets me switch between my PC and laptops easily (work and Mac).
