Why are you even thinking about it? Curiosity might make something 10 can't.

TPM is available only for Intel 8th generation or newer chips. If your bio mentions a 12th generation, you should be fine. Make sure to enable TPM and secure boot in your BIOS.

Sorry. I think upgrading makes sense.
The signature is from my previous setup.
The TPM is on my latest model.

You can turn on Ftpm (firmware TPM) in the BIOS or install a TPM module such as GC-TPM2.0 SPI/GC-TPM2.0 SPI 2.0 or GC-TPM2.0 SPI V2. Using the TPM firmware, it's important to update the BIOS because older versions may cause performance problems.

I upgraded the bios last night. I also turned off the tpm last night due to an error about a new cpu, so I didn’t post. After disabling it, the pc worked fine and no errors occurred. If I turn it back on, will I get that error again? Thanks.

Using the new cpu requires resetting the TPM to remove the error and enable booting.
