Hm. that's weird, try disabling all startup programs/processes to make sure it isn't some piece of software running in the background. You can also try sfc /scannow in CMD to see if it finds any errors. Personally I would just do a clean install to fix all software issues.

Hey, I just kicked off an SFPC/scannow and plan to turn off the program I installed last day before doing a fresh format.

I noticed some issues and decided to start with sfc. Before that, I ran chkdsk /scan to check the filesystem cleanliness. The scan didn’t succeed due to bad journals. Then I tried offline scan and fix, but it caused problems. Now I’m downloading a USB installer and the current ISO so I can attempt a repair. The partition repair failed to boot. My afternoon is winding down—good luck!

I reinstalled Windows 10 and everything is functioning properly now.

The filesystem repair completed successfully. It's still unclear if the issue is resolved. I'll monitor it closely...
