One of the developers apparently fixed it. A lot of old code verifies your Windows version, but they only want to avoid Windows 95 or 98. They check for a specific string starting with "windows 9" if they had referenced the next release, which would trigger errors for older OSes. Thus they stuck with Windows 10. Personally, I don’t mind how it’s called. As long as it works.

It seems the setup is mostly functional on the NVIDIA side, though AMD drivers don't work and CCC isn't supported. For HDMI issues, check the link provided for a fix.
