Windows 10 with a dark theme offers a sleek, modern look.
You can switch to a dark theme on Windows 10 for system applications like Settings and the Store. I think Microsoft will add an option soon, but currently you can use the registry editor to turn it on. I looked through forums but didn’t find any other discussions. It seems visually appealing. If anyone else has tried it, give it a go. Here’s a detailed guide: http://www.windowscentral.com/how-enable...windows-10
1. Launch the registry editor and type "regedit".
2. Click 'Yes' when prompted for permission.
3. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes\Personalize.
4. If 'Personalize' isn’t listed, create a new subkey.
5. For each missing key, right-click > New > Key and name it "Personalize".
6. Create a DWORD value named AppsUseLightTheme.
7. Set its value to 0 (or leave unchanged).
8. Repeat steps 3–6 for HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes\Personalize, using the same key name.
9. After saving, log out and back in. From the Start menu, select your profile > Sign out > Sign in.
That bar is still white. in the ui, did you find a fix for that yet? task manager >restart explorer should work too thx for this.
