Windows 10 weird freezes
After the Creator's Update, my Windows setup became increasingly unstable. I noticed unexpected crashes in games I hadn’t played before, so I reinstalled the NVIDIA drivers using DDU just to verify. Nothing improved. Later, the installation would crash randomly in bizarre ways—everything seemed fine until parts of the interface froze (like a closing button or the start menu), then everything halted completely. The mouse still moved, but clicking didn’t respond at all. Using Ctrl+Alt+Del caused a black screen. Even after a full clean install and formatting, the issue persisted. I’m unsure if it’s hardware-related, but I haven’t experienced anything similar after a complete reset. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I have a comparable application that leads to the entire computer freezing and the keypad remains unresponsive even when using the lock button.
It seems like the device struggles with reading and writing tasks, often pointing to a faulty hard drive or insufficient RAM.
I have many ideas about what might be causing the problem. The most effective approach would be to install Windows 7 and run several stress tests (games) to check for crashes. However, before you proceed, consider turning off the Xbox game notification that appears during gameplay.
Experiencing the same problem on Windows 10 causes applications to start with just one processor core.
