I didn’t create the USB myself. It seems there might be an issue with how it’s loading.

The only solution that helped on a stubborn PC was resetting the BIOS and adjusting the SATA settings, since the Marvell RAID chip seemed to reject it. Using preloaded SATA drivers through the F6 option could help get through the initial setup. It appears the system is failing to activate the right drivers once it reaches that stage and starts using generic ones during installation.

I know about Komplett. I’ve used their servers during a BF2 game session. If you ask for another USB or try a different installer, it might help determine if the problem is with the USB.

I plan to reinstall the ISO file on Monday, provided there are any open internet cafés in Oslo. I suspect the file might be corrupted because the USB has been around for nearly six months.
