I attempted ISO creation with a lot of space on the C drive and encountered the same issue during setup. The USB flash drive works fine, and I have no problems at the end using this method. Are all USB types supported, or are only certain versions like 2.0 or 3.0 compatible?
Replace the SSD or switch to another port. Try again. If it still fails, make the installation USB on a different drive. If Windows 10 isn't working, you can switch to Windows 11.

Consider trying this approach: start fresh with a flash drive, install it on a functional PC, create a Windows installation media. Insert the drive into the new PC via USB 2.0 in the back panel’s i/o shield area, then navigate to BIOS and boot from the flash drive. This method may avoid directory path problems.
