in gta 5 120 fps seems slow like 70 due to minor stuttering and after playing a few hours it freezes every couple of seconds for half a second once the update restarts everything works again. I observed that during the creators update it used about 3gb of memory instead of the usual 5.5gb, as shown by Task Manager. I attempted to turn off full screen optimization but am nearly certain the issue lies with how the operating system uses RAM. Anyone else experience this? I have a 6700k, 1080 ti and 16gb of RAM—this shouldn’t be happening.

It's the same with me too. My rig has experienced a major failure, and the frames per second dropped to as low as 16. Even in Rise of the Tomb Raider, similar issues are appearing after the update. The issue seems linked to the new Version 1703 OS Build 15063.72x and Version 1709. I haven't been able to get an immediate solution, so I've chosen to revert to the earlier version. However, I was hoping to use Version 1709, and Microsoft should address this FPS problem in certain games.
