Windows 10 update causes PC to repeatedly reinstall faulty driver.
Windows 10 required an update on my laptop last week (1709). I still have a Conexant audio driver with poor sound quality that I can't remove. I turned off automatic driver updates in the Control Panel, but when I uninstalled it and reinstalled the standard High Definition Audio Device driver through Device Manager, the bad Conexant version kept coming back. What should I try next?
