I just installed the Windows update (anniversary) and have noticed a significant lag with the mouse. I've tried re-downloading CS:GO, reverting to an older Windows version, switching to a different mouse, updating GPU drivers, enabling combatibility mode, and using administrator mode. I don't know what to do next but could use some help.

Have you verified that all your mouse drivers are current? I’d also want to confirm the update didn’t begin consuming excessive system resources such as CPU, RAM, or otherwise, since Windows can behave in that way sometimes.

Hi, everything seems to be operating smoothly with the CPU around 15-20% and RAM functioning normally. I’m not sure what’s causing the issue. I have a 66600k stock, 4x4 DDR4 2100 MHz, GTX 770 with 2GB RAM, and an ASRock H170. It should be running well on this setup.

Just a note, but I'll try this as a fallback since it's really tough. Cheers!

Check if the delay occurs only in CS GO or across multiple platforms. If limited to CS GO, consider reinstalling the game.

It's frustrating. Simply connect the USB, format it, install the software, and then re-download your applications.

Verify if the DVR feature in the Xbox app is disabled. The anniversary patch has caused reduced FPS in certain titles. I’ve experienced this issue firsthand.
