windows 10 to windows 7
Your setup is correct. Formatting only the C drive should work. Just be careful with the blue screen issues.
You can begin with a Windows 7-style start menu and, regarding the blue screen, consider a complete reinstall of Windows 10.
Not satisfied with W10? That’s understandable. This seems like the simplest path forward. Look for an extra drive or purchase one, then follow Komplett’s advice. Simply transfer your game saves and download installers from trusted sources online. Once the new OS is set up, place the saves in the correct folders. Minimal effort required. The main issue is that many programs add data to %appdata% and other hidden directories, along with firewall or admin permissions. Just move essential files there. If customization is needed later, you’ll have to redo it.
