I saw many posts online about Windows 10 expanding its device quota for accounts from 10 to 2000. However, I’m still unable to download anything from the Windows app store, even free items, since my limit is full. I have 16 devices, and I reached out to Microsoft, who mentioned a sheet explaining the limit is capped at 10. All my devices are using the latest color icons.

It's clear that it's not the year 2000; if Microsoft said it's 10, then it's 10.

A few individuals have a cap of 2000, so it's unclear what MS is up to.

Maybe it's being rolled out gradually.

I don't have anyone who meets those device restrictions, and Microsoft hasn't released any formal statement about it.

It seems unclear why multiple sites claim an event is occurring when there are no official updates. No Microsoft statement appears to contradict this information.

The Tech News section is all users created entries. So, you can't rely on accuracy. I mean, no one is a journalist with years of experience and going in contacting their sources in the industry to very information.
