I've been using Windows 10 since its release and noticed that shadow copies consume a lot of space on default settings. I tried adjusting them similarly to what I did in Windows 8, but the path options are different now. Have you seen any changes regarding shadow copy storage size in Windows 10?

The system identifies its location using a sniffer tool. A shadow copy refers to a duplicate created without affecting the original data.

It’s about bringing things back to their original state. When you change a file, it keeps a copy of the previous version, giving you a full backup of everything.
