So I have this problem where I have downloaded the windows 10 and now its upgrading but the problem is its stuck at 25% and copying 86% done now it has been 4 hours now and its still just sitting there Please can someone help me this is a big problem

Power off the machine and restart it. Great work staying on task.

I've already attempted this, but it's the sixth time. The hard drive indicator appears frozen and doesn't flash properly—it just stays on. Apologies for the two previous messages.

Did you use a previous operating system on that storage device? What is its age?

It runs Windows 8.1, the SSD is 6 months old, it was recently formatted and now has a fresh Windows 8.1 installation.

It should have switched back to Win 8.1 after a restart or update to version 5. Once that happened, you could retry. I got stuck at 21% and had to reboot several times before it worked properly in Win 7. After rebooting, it functioned correctly again.
