Is anyone around? My Windows 10 is on an Intel SSDPEKNU512GZ nvme drive and it’s been corrupted. I tried several fixes: updating the Windows installation, changing the Windows folder with DISM, using SFC from a third-party tool, and applying a new image via Dism++. Nothing worked—Windows boots but can’t access the lock screen. It just shows a blank page after reboot. Any ideas?

Check your files? Create a Linux live ISO, copy the contents, or store them on a cloud drive. After that, set up your PC.

Try launching from an USB drive that runs Ubuntu. Make sure your important files are backed up to another USB stick. If this doesn’t help, consider getting a fresh boot drive just to be safe, and then transfer the data from the old one.

LiveISO solutions are functional, especially for a more Windows-like experience with Kubuntu. It’s essentially Ubuntu but with KDE Plasma’s interface. From what I’ve noticed, these cases are increasing, possibly due to changes in Windows updates. If you’re using Windows 7, try pressing Shift down after the BIOS screen to enter recovery mode—this can help boot into safe mode later. Make sure to check your specific setup before proceeding.

I'm also using a Windows 11 To Go setup on a USB 2.5 inch SSD case.
