Hey everyone, my PC crashed this morning and I had to perform a hard reset. Windows 10 started in repair mode, but I've tried all the options without success. Even safe mode doesn't work. I also attempted a clean install from the repair, but that failed too. I'm trying to reinstall Windows 10 from the startup repair and have no luck. I have an empty SSD, so I was considering installing Windows 10 ISO onto it and then cleaning it before moving files from my other SSD, which already has Windows 10. My specs are pretty high-end: i7-4790K overclocked to 4.6GHz, NZXT X60 Kraken cooler, 8GB x2 Corsair Vengeance RAM at 1866MHz, Asus Maximus VII Hero GPUs with GTX 980ti x2 (dual SLI), a new Samsung Evo 840 1TB, and a Corsair SSD 240GB that's currently empty. I'm not sure if the new GPUs might be the issue, but it's frustrating. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this would be really helpful. Thanks a lot!

If the fix fails, try another Windows 10 installation without formatting the SSD or HDD. Data from the old OS would be accessible in a folder named windows.old on the C drive.

I resolved it—the second 980ti had a problem. Removing it fixed the issue, and the single card worked fine. After swapping it back in, the same problem appeared with that card. I've sent it back for replacement.
