Windows 10 starts with a problem: a necessary device isn’t connected or reachable. Need help?
I power on my PC and notice the BIOS setup option appears briefly. Right away, a blue error screen displays with the code "0xc000000e". It instructs me to use recovery media. I already have a Windows 8 64-bit installation disk, but I’m stuck in the BIOS and can’t access it. I’ve tried pressing the correct keys repeatedly, but nothing happens. The issue persists whether I use one keyboard or switch to another. I’ve also tested connecting both keyboards to every USB port, yet the problem continues. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Chris.
Make sure to use your PS2 keyboard. The drivers might not be functioning correctly.
Thank you for the assistance. The problem with Windows 10 on an SSD was resolved by restarting the computer without the drive attached, which effectively removed the SSD and allowed automatic boot from the hard disk. Appreciate the help!
