I assembled a gaming PC and faced significant delays when installing Windows. After several hours, the system would reset and restart into a bootloader environment, then take another hour and a half to load properly. Once updates were applied and the PC was reset, it still required about an hour to become responsive again. I’ve tried various solutions from YouTubos, but I’m unsure what’s causing the problem.

Your internet speed varies based on the Win 10 version you installed, and a slow connection may result in long wait times.

My Wi-Fi is decent enough, so I’m pretty sure the issue isn’t with it. Before it connected to the internet, it was still quite slow.

Turn off your modem/router... then start the PC... does it take an hour to reach the desktop?

i tried this earlier today too and it didn't improve things. it still takes an hour to load on the desktop. plus, today i connected a new motherboard and everything worked the same way—slow bios boot and slow windows start.
