Hello, everyone! I'm trying to figure out a way forward since things have gotten really frustrating. The issue started when I was using my laptop normally—just had a YT video and Blender open. Suddenly, Blender crashed, and after five seconds, I saw a BSOD with the message "Drive power state failure." The laptop restarted as expected, but during boot it would freeze while the loading screen spun, then stop completely. After several attempts, Windows Automatic Repair began but didn't find any problems. When I switched to Safe Mode, everything worked perfectly!

I've tried restoring from system restore, using chkdsk and sfc commands, even reinstalling Windows from a USB drive. But the problem persists—especially when booting from a Linux Mint USB, which also froze at the same stage as Windows. I also checked for a BIOS update (version 1.22), but I decided against it because I worried it might interfere with the update and cause permanent damage.

My specs are: Dell Inspiron 15 3593, Intel Core i7-1065G7, 8GB DDR4 RAM, Nvidia GeForce MX230 GPU, running Windows 10 Pro. It's been about two years since I first encountered this issue. I'm really hoping for a solution soon!
