Windows 10 shows unusual startup issues.
Essentially a major inconvenience, boot time jumped from seconds to twenty. The issue becomes apparent after a complete shutdown. Initially, you see the monitor logo along with the BIOS prompt, then the Windows startup sound appears and after that nothing for 10-15 seconds—just a black screen with the cursor before the login screen. I’m unsure what happens during those ten to fifteen seconds, but it bothers me because it didn’t occur before. I disabled all programs at startup, tried fast boot on and off, but nothing changed. I own a Samsung 960 Pro, so that shouldn’t be an issue. I also checked if the problem lies with Windows 10, but on another machine with a 970 EVO Plus it doesn’t happen—it shows the monitor logo and then directly logs in (full startup takes about ten seconds, similar to my PC, but now there’s that annoying delay). It’s not a huge problem, but it’s really frustrating. Could anyone help identify the cause or suggest a solution? Maybe it’s related to the monitor? But I don’t think so. Thanks ahead!
