Windows 10 setup issues on an Optane laptop
I have an Acer Nitro 5 with these specifications: i5 8300h, 16GB Optane, 8GB RAM, and a 1TB HDD. It was the last day when I shut it down forcefully while it was restarting. The restart started because I selected Restart instead of Shut Down. The next day, the Wi-Fi was off, so I reinstalled the drivers but still faced problems. After reinstalling Windows, it wouldn’t boot properly. I had formatted the C drive and then booted with Optane disabled, which worked. However, when I enabled Optane during installation of Windows 10, the system showed Optane memory instead of the HDD, even after using the RST option. Now I can’t access my Optane drive. I changed the ISO file and tried installing again, but during setup it blocked installation if Optane was enabled. Anyone have any advice?
