I removed all read-only settings, yet the check disk still flags it as write protected. According to an online article, if it does show as protected, it means either the settings are marked as readonly or the partition file system is damaged. It seems my drive might be facing the latter issue. I have no idea why this occurred...
You haven’t managed to fix the problem yet. I moved the main boot M.2 SSD to a different computer to check with CrystalDiskInfo. Here are the findings. It’s unclear why this is happening.
I noticed I hadn't shared my progress on this subject before. After spending a considerable amount of time diagnosing the problem, I discovered the M.2 storage device was failing and had stopped writing data. Installing Windows on a fresh drive and transferring my files resolved the issue. Leaving the original M.2 unit in place helped confirm the situation, and after a few more months, the drive eventually became unusable.
