Hello, I’ve moved from Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit to Windows 10 Enterprise 64-bit version 1909. The laptop takes around four minutes to restart or shut down, often showing "Restarting..." or "Shutting Down..." until it finally completes. Everything seems normal in Safe Mode, so there must be a specific service or app causing the delay. I’m trying to figure out which one is responsible.

Consider enabling verbose settings for shutdown and startup via the registry editor at https://www.techrepublic.com/article/how...istry-edit. Examine your Event Viewer by right-clicking the Start menu, selecting Event Viewer, then Custom Views, and clicking Administrative Events. Review the shutdown time—there are usually many warnings and errors, but most can be disregarded. This area may contain useful details. Some users find the Event Viewer a bit challenging to navigate.

I've located a fix on the web. The issue was related to the "DW WLAN Tray Service." I turned it off and everything is working now.
