To save costs due to rising prices for motherboards, I’m switching from B550 to B450. Since I don’t need PCIe Gen 4 features, that’s a good choice. I currently use an Asus Prime A320M-K and plan to upgrade to the TUF B450-Plus Gaming II. Should I reinstall Windows 10? The vendor and platform remain the same, so it should be fine. Also, I’m moving from R3 1200 to R5 5600X, which means I can update the BIOS before installing the new CPU. Thanks in advance!

You should probably proceed without reinstalling the OS. Review the driver list to see which ones didn’t auto-update, then reinstall those that missed it.
