Windows 10 recovery
Windows 10 recovery
I've encountered a problem with my work machine. Initially, it appeared to have lost some drivers, so I had to locate and reinstall them. Eventually, I used Dell's support assistant to identify the missing drivers and install them. After completing the installation, I powered down the machine and turned it back on, but now it keeps looping indefinitely. I've tried various repair tools—those included with the drive and Windows 10 installation media—but nothing resolves the issue. Chkdsk reports no errors, so I'm unsure what's causing the problem. If this were my personal computer, I'd have reinstalled Windows earlier. However, I have significant work and software licenses tied up. My concern is whether to use a recovery image from weeks ago or perform a fresh install and restore files from a backup made a few days ago using the built-in file system. Please advise.
