I'm not sure what's going wrong with the Windows updates. I got a new Asus PC about a year ago running the 390 platform, Maximus XI Extreme. At first, installing Windows 1909 worked fine—updates and everything was okay. But when 2004 came out, the system wouldn't update at all. It felt like wasting time, and after the last reboot it would roll back changes. Every attempt gave a different error message. An IT buddy suggested some fixes, but nothing helped. Now I'm facing the same problem on my 20H2. Every time I try, it just reverts. I unplugged USB devices, unmapped another PC (which updated successfully), and even tried Microsoft Media 20H2, but that also failed. I used all the top brands—Asus, Samsung M.2 NVMe SSD, 1200W Corsair PSU, and 240 Corsair AIO cooler. My Intel i9-9900KS runs around 47°C at idle, and two cores might hit 100 on Sinebench. I've overclocked it to 5.1 and never had any issues. I'm planning to take it apart, sell the board and CPU, and start fresh. Any advice would be appreciated, Wendell McBurnett.

I just reinstalled Windows there. Regarding the 20h2 media, what were your plans for it?
