Likely using standard drivers. Upgrading from Windows 8 to 10 didn't significantly alter the core operating system. If it works fine, leave it as is.

It isn't available. The issue isn't with Microsoft but rather with Intel. Both Intel and AMD offer support for only a limited period. Nonetheless, it functions flawlessly with Windows 10 since drivers for Windows 7 are included by default under version 10. In reality, Windows 10 already contains all the necessary drivers.

Nonetheless, it functions flawlessly with Windows 10 since drivers for Windows 7 are included by default under version 10. In reality, Windows 10 already contains all the necessary drivers.

I own an X58 and have never faced any issues when setting up Windows 8 or 10 (both unsupported). I simply install Windows, and it automatically detects drivers for all components. It delivers optimal performance. I only update the latest Nvidia GPU drivers and sound settings for my ASUS Xonar card, and that's it. I’m puzzled about any problems you’re experiencing. Could it be related to BIOS configuration on the motherboard? (my assumption). My Gigabyte model might have BIOS issues with Windows 10. I’m curious if you can help. If you need to try Windows 10, use the Media Creation Tool from Microsoft, install it on your current system, and run it in trial mode without entering a product key. If you’re upgrading another PC, choose the "for another PC" option, swap the main drive with a spare, and proceed with setup.
