select all picture files and press Enter, which may restore the previous/next arrows. Unfortunately, this isn't a lasting solution. If you've already tried updates, consider reporting it to Microsoft or checking for other fixes. This problem has been ongoing for weeks and is worsening, impacting more folders recently. Indexing completed quickly, but the search functionality remains unreliable.

The Windows 7 photo viewer should work for you. You mentioned it functions well without problems.

It should work as long as it functions properly. I'm trying it now, thanks! P.S.: I really appreciate the next/previous buttons—they can be a bit tricky in version 10.
