Windows 10 performance slowed down following the installation of Valorant.
Windows Boot time extended from 10 seconds to around 25 seconds after installing Valorant due to the Vanguard anti-cheat system operating during startup. This can be managed by disabling Vanguard temporarily or adjusting its settings, though doing so may affect game performance or stability.
Open command prompt via Win+R. Navigate to the startup folder and locate the anticheat shortcut. Move it to your desktop for easy access before launching the game.
NVM removed Valorant from the main PC with sensitive information. Will play on the laptop. Mixed opinions about its reliability due to Ring 0 access. Boot time returns to 10-11 after uninstall. Updated March 7, 2021 by RR94IND
