Windows 10 PC experiences crashes without a blue screen.
Hi, over the last couple of weeks my PC has been having problems where it occasionally stops without a crash screen. I can still control the mouse and most running programs, but nothing responds and the whole system freezes. I can open the taskbar and restart or shut down, though a full reboot is needed. This started after running a particular MATLAB script—it happened every time I used that code. It resolved when I copied it into a new file. At first I thought it was an SSD issue, but tests with Windows and Samsung found no problems. Recently the same thing happened twice: once without using the PC, once while controlling it remotely via AnyDesk while running a Jupyter notebook, and again with a short (~50 lines) linear fit code. All temperatures look normal. I really need your assistance!
Have you attempted to execute "sfc /scannow" to check your system's health? It might indicate an issue with your software.
Hey everyone, I followed your advice and it kept happening three times over the weekend. The latest issue was when I paused a YouTube video for about 15 minutes and it crashed again. I also tried keeping my task manager open, but it didn’t show anything and just stayed blank. Any suggestions? Thanks!
