His brother's audio drivers aren't working on his laptop, making the sound very faint. He switched back to Windows 8.1 and found it much worse.

You can revert to Windows 7 for a month if you encounter significant problems. The settings menu includes an option to return to Windows 7. The main challenges I face are performance issues linked to video drivers, especially Nvidia, which makes it feel slow. I miss the classic look and interface of older versions. There aren’t any clear ways to restore the original appearance, so I often have to run compatibility checks to fix problems with games and applications. Some of my games initially displayed as slideshows but function properly after these fixes.
