I've tested it on my Surface Pro 3. The download kept failing twice on two of my other machines, and even on my main rig it's still loading but only using a tenth of my CPU power—which is really frustrating. My initial thoughts: it feels worse than Windows 8.1. They tried to simplify the interface, but the charms bar was replaced with something less impressive, missing many of its nice features like brightness and volume controls. I can't adjust the taskbar color for any reason. The layout changes a lot, making some parts too small and others too big. The modern UI is mostly gone except when switching to tablet mode, which strips away useful options. Overall, I'm really disappointed and expected better than the terrible Win8.1 experience.
I hope the setup didn’t come across as too awkward with the reservation step. Installing it manually for peat sakes is proving tricky. "Ensuring you’re prepared" will require a few minutes... about an hour later: "ensuring you’re ready" again needs a short while... the task manager seems inactive. No HDD access, minimal CPU activity—just a simple process.
In the picture it showed me already having a win 10. Checking around 4 mods and 4 Cortana.
Sure, I'll go ahead and download the W10 driver and check the results.
Jarvis, what's the weather? Jarvis, what time is it in Jarvis? When is my Ironman suit arriving in Jarvis? Give me an ETA on my order.
