Following the 2004 update, performance seemed to halt and then slowed dramatically, though restarting resolved the issue. (Ryzen 3600 ASRock B450 Pro 4, GTX 1070 Ti)

If issues arise like this, a seasoned person should examine your laptop—review processes, devices, and the Event Viewer. The solution might seem simple, but troubleshooting can be complex.

You're right about it, I've checked and tested, but I can't spot anything wrong. After the 2004 release, the problem began. I don't own a laptop, but I think the newer build is only compatible with Ryzen systems. Microsoft seems to be pushing Intel, which is a bit confusing. I'm going back to the 1909 version, hoping it works better. Still curious about what's happening and trying to fix it without reinstalling Windows—I really don't want to give up easily.

She uses Ryzen from 2004 and everything runs smoothly. I think if Ryzen caused issues, Microsoft would have noticed before the official launch. With just two brands to test, things aren't too complicated.

That's correct, sir. I have three friends who all got builds with Ryzen processors—3600, 3700X, and one with 3900X. There were no issues. I’m the only one with this promotion, so I’ll keep an eye out for future updates from Microsoft to see if they can help my system. Thanks for your time, and take care!
