I installed the newest Windows 10 update today, the November release. I've observed that after shutting down my computer, it becomes very sluggish. The screen turns black, but the system continues running briefly before powering off. Previously, it would shut down in just a few seconds. Attempting to upgrade the BIOS didn't improve the situation. Are others facing similar issues? Is there a possible solution or should we wait for Microsoft to release an update?

Windows briefly puts itself into a low-power state during shutdown for quicker boot times. This causes the display to turn off and the system to pause before fully closing. It usually happens quickly.

Disabled quick startup because the issue returned after the November patch, so I turned it off and it worked normally again.

I understand, but it's taken much longer than expected, which was really frustrating.
