It would be helpful to see a more familiar Windows interface, similar to Windows 7. Upgrading to Windows 10 in 2020 might be challenging since support for older versions ends.

It marks the final update for Windows. Microsoft announced there would be no more new versions or releases. This version will receive ongoing free updates and improvements over time. Windows is now offered as an official service OS. Honestly, Microsoft doesn’t primarily rely on Windows sales like they do with Office and other products; this shift reflects their strategy.

Microsoft definitely stated that, yet I believe the more important issue is how committed they truly are to that strategy. It seems ridiculous for them to claim they won’t ever develop a superior business model compared to what they currently have.
