Windows 10 may slow down games due to resource usage.
Hey everyone, after setting up my SSD and HDD and reinstalling Windows 10, I noticed a big drop in frame rate. I went through all the updates and scans, moving from over 200 FPS to around 90 FPS. This has led to noticeable tearing and eye fatigue while gaming. Temperatures stayed normal—CPU at 57°C, GPU at 70°C. I turned off Xbox DVR and followed all standard tips for improving FPS, but nothing worked. Thanks for the info. My system specs are: CPU AMD FX6300, motherboard GA 970-DS3P, GPU MSI R9 290x, 16GB RAM, Corsair Vengeance Low Profile, 256GB SSD with games and OS, ASUS VG248QE monitor.
The setup measures 290X with an FX-6300, indicating a high-resolution display. The system performance suggests the CPU operates at full capacity while the GPU runs at 60%.
CPU usage stays around 70% max, GPU performance capped at 50%
It seems the message is about a driver issue. Let's address it together.
