I just set up Windows 10 via the media installation method without needing a USB stick. I selected the choice to retain my files and applications, and it immediately installed all my drivers—speakers, wireless adapter, microphone, etc. Now I’m downloading the Windows 10 64bit Nvidia driver for my 970s. Edit: For those who want to follow my steps, you can get it from this link: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-.../windows10. After saving, you’ll have the option to create a bootable USB or install it directly as with any other program.

I love working with clean, modern, and lightweight projects. I miss the simplicity of 2007 design.

The FPS is measured against Windows 7's performance baseline, taking into account recent updates like the latest Windows 10 drivers.

No, an operating system doesn't affect frame rate in games.

You have the choice between making a bootable USB or installing directly on the current PC. Once installed, you can opt for a clean install or retain your files and apps—this was the path I selected. When it first starts, it will prompt you about installation speed or settings, which you can adjust later. I haven’t tested all features yet, but everything seems promising.
