Hi, I heard someone is having trouble with Windows 10 Hello not launching automatically. They bought a Swift 3 laptop and it doesn’t seem to work. Only the fingerprint sensor from Acer has drivers installed. There are no drivers available for the camera yet. We’re stuck because of the pandemic and can’t return the device. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

This indicates two versions of Windows Hello available: fingerprint scanning and facial recognition. My limited investigation suggests the device only recognizes fingerprints, not faces.

Yes, it supports Windows Hello with a camera feature. The Acer marketing page highlights this capability, while the fingerprint reader is also mentioned.

It mentions fingerprint and Windows Hello on the device itself, but they might be related. I couldn't locate any online articles addressing this specific problem with this model or the latest software. The fingerprint scanner didn't function properly from the start, so I had to reinstall the driver.
