Hello on Windows 10, the lock screen freezes or slows down when you move the mouse. Typing in the password field causes delays—characters appear slowly, pause briefly, then continue. Could be related to driver issues, background processes, or keyboard settings. Check for updates, disable unnecessary programs, and ensure your hardware is functioning properly.
It has occurred before, especially after adding an optical drive. It hasn’t happened recently, but it still can. The question is whether it happens consistently.
I didn't notice the notification for this post. There was nothing I could do to resolve it. It seemed to fix itself on its own. Likely a NVIDIA or Windows driver problem.
