Hello, I need to completely replace the SSD on this computer you're passing on. I intend to install Windows using a USB drive with the same installation media. Will the original license stay valid? Thank you ahead of time.

When you purchased an OEM license, it remains linked to the specific motherboard you used. With a retail license, you simply need to ensure only one Windows instance is active under that license. Licenses can also be connected to your Microsoft account, allowing them to sync across any Windows installation you sign into using that account.

Because the system is built by Acer and the parts remain consistent (except for the hard drive), the license should continue to apply.

Yes. You're performing the same steps, but using an OEM Asus prebuilt unit. Once you install Windows, it will handle activation automatically, requiring no further action from you.

The agreement is linked to the mainboard. You're free to replace other parts while keeping this valid.
